You might want to know who you'll be working with if you choose to have me be your Realtor so here is some information to let you know a little more about me.
I became a Realtor in January 2004 after moving back to Florida from Los Angeles, to be closer to my parents in their final years. Prior to this I worked with a company to choose or design and implement all their systems including their computer network, software, phone system, forms and website. Before this I worked throughout the U.S. and Canada as a management consultant to Chiropractors which followed the experience from being a Chiropractor with my own clinic in the Minneapolis area.
I have taken what I learned from all this past experience and applied it to my work as a Realtor because this is more a service profession than a sales profession. Listening to my clients to find out what they really want to find as far as a property, and what they want from me is key. I pay close attention not only to what they say but also to what they like and don't like when we go to see properties and this helps me to know what they really want.
I also feel that it is important to oversee all aspects of a purchase. Too often a lender does not do their work well which not only can cause frustration to a buyer but also can cause a purchase to fall apart. As many of my clients can tell you, I watch over this aspect closely and know what should and shouldn't be happening and will jump in to make sure a lender does not mess things up. So my overall purposes as a Realtor are 1) to help my clients find what they really want, 2) to get them the best deal possible, 3) to make sure that once they have a contract on a property that it closes, 4) to help my clients understand the process and keep them informed of what is occurring as things progress and 5) to reduce any stress related to the purchase process as much as possible.
