Dunedin's Downtown Restaurants
Downtown Dunedin is a favorite spot for almost anyone who comes here with lots of cute shops, good restaurants and homemade ice cream. Here are my opinions of the restaurants I've been to in the downtown strip so that if you do come to visit you'll have an idea of what they are like. You're welcome to share your opinions too.
Sea Sea Riders - looks like a blue-grey house located between downtown and the water. Very good seafood and reasonably priced with a nice patio that looks out on the street and down to the water. I like their coconut shrimp and blackened seafood.
Casa Tina - great, fresh Mexican food. You won't be disappointed.
Bon Appetite - located right on the water, at the end of the Best Western. Very good food and windows all across to look out onto the Intracoastal. I've had the baby back ribs, lamb, and grouper and all were very good. Every client I've had that has eaten there thought the food was great but a few mentioned they had poor service.
Kelly's - neat place with a menu that has a lot of unique dishes. Also voted one of the best hamburgers in Tampa Bay. They have a big open area in the back which is nice to sit in.
Cafe Al Fresco - nice variety of dishes like burgers, sandwiches, salads, steaks, etc. They have an enclosed area to the side that sits right by the Pinellas Trail so you can watch the people go by who are biking, walking running, skating, etc.
The Black Pearl - five star restaurant with great food but priced accordingly. Neat appetizer which is a dip in a cup that is made out of baked cheese.
